Teeth-In-An-Hour™

Teeth In A Day Offered in Doylestown, Meadowbrook, Langhorne, and Philadelphia

TEETH-IN-AN-HOUR™ is a revolutionary concept providing patients with fully functioning teeth on dental implants in a single procedure that takes about an hour.

This technology was developed by Nobel Biocare and utilizes collaboration between both the restorative doctor and the oral surgeon. This merging of knowledge and experience achieves not only increased safety, but also a more precise implant placement. In addition, the fabrication of a final prosthesis is completed prior to the surgery. The computer-guided implant surgery is done in an arthroscopic fashion without requiring any flap reflection. This benefits the patient in that there is less postoperative discomfort, less swelling, and less bruising. Patients can often resume their normal activities the next day.

The Teeth-in-an-Hour Procedure

The process begins when a CAT scan is taken of the patient’s jaw bone. This CAT scan allows for the generation of a three-dimensional model of the jaw bone that can then be used with virtual reality software to plan the implant placement without the presence of the patient. The results are a more accurate implant placement and less chair time for the patient.

Patient Review By Frederick G

On my initial consult in August, Dr. Sock reviewed the condition of the root of my tooth (#22) which was decaying below the gum line, and confirmed my dentist's conclusion that a root canal was not an option. The tooth required extraction. Dr. Sock then explained the entire process: after extraction, the tooth cavity is filled with ground up bone, and allowed to integrate into the jaw bone for several months. Then he carefully inserts a titanium implant, which, after healing several months, is then capped with a crown by my dentist. Prior to installing the implant, a 3-D conical beam x-ray is taken by Dr. Sock in order to accurately position the implant in the location where the tooth was extracted and bone graft was completed. What I really liked about this process is that Dr. Sock took his time to explain in detail the entire process, and go over the specific procedure he was going to perform each visit. What really amazed me was how "painless" he made the extraction and bone graft, and then the implant. I even told him that both the extraction and implant procedures were less painful than a tooth cleaning or getting a tooth filled at my dentist! I will recommend him (and this practice) to all my family and friends whenever they require an extraction, implant, or any other type of dental surgery. He and his staff are very caring and go out of their way to make the whole process as smooth and painless as possible!! Excellent work!!

I was able to get scheduled very soon after I first called in. And once I arrived at the office, the entire process from start to finish was prompt, professional, and expertly done. I am happy to recommend this practice to anyone.
